This little guy was at one of our feeders for a long time while we were eating dinner this evening. We got out the binoculars and the bird book. We still aren't sure what it is because it just doesn't look like any of the pictures exactly. If you know what it is let me know.

It is some kind of a sparrow. It is either a song sparrow or a chipping sparrow I think, but I have not had time to check through any of the books I have.
We figured it out! You were right Grandma...it was a Song Sparrow!! :-)
After looking in a different field guide we did find it.
