Regency Dress

These are pictures dd took after I finished the muslin version of the Regency Dress. She added the red trim, which, definitely, adds something to it.

I got the pattern from Sense & Sensibility. I had challenges getting a few things right, but overall it's an easy pattern. I hope to start on the "real" thing tomorrow.
Check out Shereen's blog for Sew Crafty Friday.

I like that. So simple, but very pretty. You'll have to post a pic of the final thing.

Oh wow! She looks so tall and grown up in that dress!!! Makes me want to sew one for Charity! LOL!

(Actually, music class got cancelled for the girls today so we are going to cut out and start sewing a baby dress for Grace's Rebekah!)

I love it!! It's gorgeous :) I'd never heard of Sense and Sensibility before, but I browsed their website for a bit and their designs are lovely! I would love to try to sew one of those someday. Be sure to let us know how the final product turns out :D

love your blog! I just came across it because I am obsessed with yo yo making right now and you had some past posts about my addiction! I recently bought one of those heart-shaped yo yo makers by clover, lots of fun! I love card making, also! Need more hours in a day.......blessings, Marie

Oh, how lovely! You know, I'd make one of those in white eyelet with red ribbon, just like that--the white is so pretty on your beautiful daughter!
