Another zipper

Today's project was Amy's new skirt.
I have been in fear of sewing lately, fear of failure, I guess. So I prayed my way through this skirt. As you see it's plaid. Thankfully, it's matched up everywhere it's supposed to be. The skirt also has a lapped zipper. I prayed through that especially. Tomorrow I plan to put an organza type ruffle around the bottom edge along with velvet ribbon trim. I think it's going to look darling, but I'll keep praying as I go. And I hope to post more pictures tomorrow. Any prayers for sewing success will be greatly appreciated!
