The two-year shawl

sewcraftybutton

This week I finally finished the knitted shawl I started about two years ago.

I did this whole thing by knitting for about 30 minutes a day while Amy was reading aloud to me during school. It's somewhere near 66 inches long and about 15 inches wide. And, yes, I'm glad to have it done (just in time for spring). It's pretty warm, so I'll be enjoying it on cool days.

We all seem to be writing about crochet at SCF today, LOL! I love, love, love your shawl. It was worth the 2-year-wait, I bet. I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one who takes 'forever' to get projects done!

Very pretty! I like the colors you chose. A few weeks ago I finished an afghan that took me a few years, so you are not the only one! :-)

The soft muted colors are so very pretty. You should be able to wear this often because it looks like it will coordinate with quite a few different colors. It just goes to show that a few minutes a day can achieve some pretty big results.
