Sew Crafty Friday

Click on the above picture to go to Shereen's crafty blog.

I learned another stitch using this pattern. That felt good.
I have been sewing this week also. I made a muslin of a shirt I'd like, but the neck line is way too big (I knew it would be) so it's not worthy of a picture. Amy has another pattern that's similar, but more easily altered, so I'm going to try it instead.

I love the great pattern and the sunny colors.

I love your dishcloth. I'm a new knitter and I was thinking of doing some dishcloths or a dishcloth exchange for more practice. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, wow, I wish I could knit like that! It's really pretty!
What pattern did you use for the top? Would it be possible to put elastic in it to make it smaller?

I used Simplicity 3750. It's a square and the front needs to come up about two inches. Simplicity 4022 is similar, but the front is a separate piece thus easier to make taller.
