I love my God, my Wife, and my Daughter...I also love old cars and hope some day to have time to tinker again with them...maybe an old Ford Mustang that we could have as a family project or something...
Okay, this isn't mushy feely. Sorry. My first post was that and the other, but this is going to brief=)
John 14 says numerous times that if we love God we will obey Him, and that if we don't obey we don't love Him. Many other places assert the same. In fact, 1 John 5 says that we love our fellow Christians by obeying God.
Love for God is far more than a feeling. It is the act of transforming ourselves with hard work and purpose because He is worthy and has extended His own generous hand of love.
