A little more spring at our house

I just love the detail of flowers (and birds and lots of things in nature). God is amazing in His creating. The above are Columbine of some variety. The below are Lily of the Valley, one of my favorites.

The geese have come to our pond. This is the first year we've seen babies. They are so cute.

Aw. How sweet.

We have a few Lilies of the Valley popping through the rocks where we landscaped around the deck. They must be hearty to break through the cover that is under the rocks. They have such a nice aroma. Your pictures are a beautiful reflection of God's handiwork.

I love Canadian geese--there's tons of them here in CO. At my husband's work they have a couple of families that come back every year to nest and there is always a contest to name the babies. Last year's winner was Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner...fairly awful but funny in a way.

I too really enjoy baby birds.

Our robins have left the nest. Hopefully, we'll see them around the yard for a while.

Lovely. The fragrance of lilies of the vally takes me back to college days. They grew in profusion by the administration building where I often met my sweetheart (and now husband!)

What kind of flower is the first picture?

The first flower is a variety of Columbine.
